  8.     VERSION 4.04 CHANGES (Changes since version 4.03)

  10.     >    Right  Ascension  and  Declination can now be selected for the map
  11.     display  and  for  printing orbital data.  In the map, this mode may be
  12.     toggled  by  pressing  [F9].  In the print orbital data dialog, a check
  13.     box was added to select Right Ascension and Declination.

  15.     >    I  made  some  changes  in  the  calculations dealing with period,
  16.     apogee,  perigee,  and  associated  items  for  satellites  that have a
  17.     significant decay rate.  Before the program would assume that the orbit
  18.     size  would  remain  the  same, but now, it will properly calculate the
  19.     current  period,  and  then  adjust the orbit size for all of the other
  20.     calculations.   The  problem  was  noticed when old data was used for a
  21.     satellite  that  had  a  high  decay  rate.  The program would plot the
  22.     ground  track  for  more  than  one  orbit  (and sometimes several) and
  23.     abnormal   values  were  noted  in  the  velocity.   Now,  the  program
  24.     calculates the proper values.

  26.     >    I  make  one simple text change.  I changed the phrase "In Sun" to
  27.     "Sunlit" on the map screen, to be more correct.

  29.     >    I  reformatted  the  map  screen  a little bit, so now altitude at
  30.     perigee,  and  altitude  at  apogee,  inclination,  and  period are now
  31.     shown.

  33.     >    You  can  now turn off the page feeds in the print orbit routine.
  34.     The  page feed was sent at the end of each page in addition to the page
  35.     feed following each satellite.

  37.     >    A bug was found so that when the time offset between local and UTC
  38.     was changed, the program would not use the value unless the time dialog
  39.     was  entered  and  exited,  or  the location data saved and the program
  40.     restarted.  This problem is fixed.

  42.     >    A  bug in the print orbital data where when form feeds were turned
  43.     off  between satellites, the satellites following the first one did not
  44.     have  the  satellite  name  printed.   The  satellite  names  now print
  45.     correctly.

  47.     >    An  option  was  desired  to  be  able  to  sort the satellites by
  48.     satellite  name  rather  than  satellite catalog/designator/name.  This
  49.     option was added.

  51.     >    An option asked for was to be able to only save enabled satellites
  52.     to  a  satellite  data  file.  This options has been added.  To support
  53.     this and the sorting options, the menus were rearranged.

  55.     >    The merge operation was moved to the edit active satellite dialog.
  56.     This  moved  all  of the data editing options to one place as the merge
  57.     option was out of place on the main menu.

  59.     >    A  bug  was fixed in the Enable/Edit Satellite routine which would
  60.     cause the program to hang if Load Satellite data was selected from this
  61.

  73.     point.   The data would load, but then the program forgot to redraw the
  74.     enable/edit dialog again.

  76.     >    Many  other small changes were also made throughout the program to
  77.     correct minor bugs and to add some useful enhancements.

  80.         Since  the  last  couple  of versions were released and contained a
  81.     number  of  bugs, I ran the program through quite a bit of beta testing
  82.     before releasing it this time.  I hope that few problems are found this
  83.     time.   If  you find something that does not work as you expect, please
  84.     let  me  know  and  I  will do my best to get things changed, fixed, or
  85.     documented.
